Tel Aviv

The City that Never Sleeps

Rothschild Boulevard, Tel Aviv, Israel

In 1909, during the second wave of immigration into Israel, there were different forms of communities being created throughout the region. During this time, the first kibbutz was established, and so was the city of Tel Aviv.

But this isn't where life outside the old city of Jaffa begins, and so we start our tour with what today is called the first neighbourhood of Tel Aviv, Neve Zedek. We'll stroll through the streets and talk about the wonderful game of "matkot" or in English, "kadima" (which is funny, cause it's still Hebrew, just a different word), and we'll find out what this game has to do with the neighbourhood of Neve Zedek.

We'll continue to Rothschild Boulevard, and see where the city of Tel Aviv first began. We'll walk the entirety of the boulevard as it was when the city was first established, and talk about how much the city has grown and developed since.

Art, politics, history, and lots of modernity all in one tour. Tel Aviv is waiting for you.

How do I book a Virtual Tour?

  1. In order to NOT pay the VAT 17% tax that is applicable to Israeli citizens, when filling out payment information, please include either the name and address of the organization which you are ordering for, or your passport number in the "something you want to say" box. This exempts you from the VAT and makes the tour 17% cheaper for you than it would be otherwise.
  2. Once name and address/passport number are ready and easily accessible, click here for the payment link, fill in information, and click to pay.
  3. Once payment and necessary information is received, Rotem will email you to schedule the tour date and time of your tour
