This Crusader fortress is situated high above its surroundings, a perfect place to be able to see, and control, everything that's going on in the region.
The fortress is well preserved, and we can see the different rooms, and the different aspects of life 1000 years ago.
Architecturally speaking, there are a lot of fine details here that generally get worn away and lost over time, and here, a good portion of them have been preserved.
Not only is there a fantastic Crusader fortress to see here, but there's also an interested sculpture garden, by the artist Yigael Tumarkin.
