Who we are
We are Israel with Rotem, a website dedicated to Rotem Hemed Shahar, licensed tour guide in Israel.
Our website address is: https://rotemguide.com
Your privacy is very important to us, and as such, there are a few basic principles that we follow:
- We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
- We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
- We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Like most website operators, Israel with Rotem collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use the website.
Israel with Rotem collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. Israel with Rotem only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.
The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction with the Israel with Rotem website. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog to provide a username and email address. Those who wish to receive updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, Israel with Rotem collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Israel with Rotem. We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We are using WPForms to help you contact us in a more direct and easy manner. The information collected is your name and email address, so we can promptly reply to your request and know to whom we should be addressing this reply.
